Nationwide FARE INCREASE

A nationwide provisional fare increase for all buses and jeepneys has been granted by the Land Transportation and Franchising Regulatory Board (LTFRB). This fare increase will be effecitve on May 21, 2008 (Wednesday) at 12:01am. LTFRB said that the rate for Metro Manila and Regions III and IV jeepneys will increase from P7.50 to P8 for the first four kilometers.
